Doctrine

The word doctrine simply means whatever is taught, or the act of teaching (Tit. 2:1, 2 Tim. 3:10,Mark 4:2, 2 Tim. 3:15-17, Eph. 3:1-8, 2 Tim. 2:15.) Here at Valour Ministries it is our goal to preach and teach sound doctrine which is found in the pages of the KJV Holy Bible. As members of the Body of Christ some scriptures in the Bible were written “for our learning,” (Rom. 15:4) and some scriptures were written to and about us, “the Body of Christ,” for our obedience. For example, Rom. 6:14-15 states that “we are not under the law, but under grace.” What does that mean? What does that look like?  How do we know this? Or how do we decide? 2 Tim. 2:15 explains that we are to study God’s Word and “rightly divide the word of truth.”  The three main divisions are “time past,” “but now,” and “ages to come.” We utilize the bible chart as a visible tool see the Bible on a timeline starting from Genises to Revelation.   As the old saying goes, “let the scriptures lay where they lay and let them say what they say.”

For the believer the Bible seems to be unlocked when the following questions are asked. Who wrote the scripture? When did they write the scripture? To whom were they writing to? And what was the message?  This wonderful understanding and structure help get rid of the confusion and err. Lastly, we are confident that it is God’s will that all mankind be saved, and come unto the knowledge of the truth. (1 Tim. 2:4-5) At Valour Ministries we love sharing God’s word so that His will is done, and we delight in being His faithful stewards.

1 Cor. 4:1-2 “Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover, it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

Duty

In addition to doing God’s will, 1 Tim. 2: 4-5, It is our duty to put into action the instructions we have received from Jesus Christ through the Apostle Paul. The practical application we have as our duty can be found throughout the Bible, but in particular in Romans chapter 12-16, Tit. 2:11-14, 2 Tim. 2:1-4, and so much more!  We have the unique opportunity to labor with God and be the “church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth” 1 Tim. 3:15.
Proverbs 22: 6 says, “we have the duty to train up our children and teach them the truth so they can be free.” We are called to love everybody, Rom. 12:9 and preach the word! “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.”  Our service for the Lord goes beyond the four walls of our local Church. “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.” 2 Timothy 4: 2.

Destination

1 Thess. 4:14-18 proves that our (The Body of Christ) final destination is to reign in the heavenly place in Christ!
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Our final destination involves a permanent change of our current earthly bodies. We will be changed from corruptible to incorruptible, flesh and blood to flesh and bone, earthly to heavenly, sanctified to glorified.

1 Cor. 15: 50-53

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Eph. 2-6-7  Once we are in Heaven, God is going to put on display His greatest power!
“6
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.”

After we receive our glorified bodies we will also participate in the great white throne judgement.
1 Cor. 6:2-3
Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

Our Final destination, is our eternal home in heaven!
2 Cor. 5:1 “For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”
